High Temperature Strain Gauges designed for extreme environments cover temperature ranges from 200ºC up to 1325ºC, providing reliable strain measurement in applications where standard gauges cannot operate. These High Temperature Strain Gauges are available with several installation methods including ceramic bonding, Rokide flame spray installation, and weldable strain gauge mounting, allowing engineers to select the most suitable option depending on the material, surface conditions, and operating temperature. The gauges can be supplied in quarter bridge, half bridge, full bridge, or rosette configurations, supporting both static and dynamic strain measurements in demanding high-temperature environments. This flexibility allows engineers to accurately measure strain, stress, and structural behaviour in components exposed to extreme thermal conditions. High Temperature Strain Gauges are available in a basic ‘free filament’ form for specialist installations or mounted onto a weldable stainless steel or Hastelloy shim depending on the selected model and application requirements.
