Servo Accelerometers

Servo based Accelerometers are closed loop devices, gravity referenced, that ensure excellent accuracy, long term stability and zero drift over time. They can be used in a wide variety of industrial and military applications where high precision is required for rugged and robust installations. A motion is sensed by a displacement detector, a current is fed to the coil to get back the pendulum mass to the original position. This current will be proportional to the acceleration, that is converted to an output voltage.
