Commonly known as Integrated Electronics Piezo Electric (IEPE) Accelerometers.
IEPE Accelerometers include an integrated circuit to convert the charge developed from the internal crystal to a voltage output, usually referred to as a mV/g output.
Applications include NVH, Modal Analysis or Structural Analysis.
All the accelerometers boast the same features which include glass to metal hermetic seals to ensure zero ingress and internal clamping rings which removes the need for epoxy which creeps over time. All internals are in shear mode.
The accelerometers are secured either using adhesives, mounting studs or magnetic mounts. All can be supplied with high grade, low noise cable assemblies, available as separate items or supplied as a kit with the sensor.
