Swept Sine Analysis Module

Swept Sine Analysis Module (Optional)

  • Synchronization from 1 Hz to 20 kHz
  • Total and fundamental amplitude & phase
  • One to many inputs per sync source
  • Spectrum analyser bode diagram

Product Description

The Swept Sine Analysis option can be used to determine the transfer function and the bode diagram of a DUT that is stimulated by a shaker driven by a wave-generator replaying a sine sweep. The typical set up is described below.

A DUT is standing on a shaker. The shaker is driven by a Signal Generator which replays a sine sweep. One accelerometer is applied directly on the shaker and provides the reference (source) signal that is used to stimulate the DUT. One or several additional accelerometers are applied directly on  the DUT that measure the acceleration on the DUT surface on different positions (sink).

These signals can be applied to the Swept Sine Analysis module to determine the transfer function and the phase shift from source to sink. Output channels include:

  • Fundamental frequency of the Swept Sine Analysis
  • Amplitude and phase shift of the signal (amplitude refers to fundamental frequency)
  • Amplitude of the signal (amplitude refers to entire signal)
  • Transfer function and phase diagram of the signal (amplitude refers to fundamental frequency)
  • Transfer function of the signal (amplitude refers to entire signal)
