    The FN3000 measures tension and compression in standard ranges from 0-10 kN to 0-1000 kN The mechanical design and gauge placement minimizes transverse effects.     The FN3148 high precision load cell is protected against accidental overloads in tension and compression. 

    High-level outputs are available with amplifier A1 or A2 integration.

    For lower ranges, another sensor, model FN3280, can measure 0-1 N to 0-5 N [0.2 lbf to 1 lbf].

    The FN3002 is suitable for measuring cable tension and for use in test benches and in many industrial applications. The FN3002 with its compact dimensions and measures tension and compression in standard ranges from 10 kN to 2 000 kN [2 klbf to 400 klbf]. 

    Numerous options are available for adaptation to severe environments, for example, IP67 or IP68 protection. A model with integrated amplifier for high-level output is also available.

    Low Range Load Cell with Mechanical Stops

    The FN3280 S-beam load cell is designed to measure low force and has standard ranges of 1 N to 5 N [0.2 lbf to 1 lbf]. Integrated mechanical stops protect against accidental overloads up to 100 times F.S. The FN3280 provides a combination of economy and performance, this low cost load cell has an accuracy of 0.1% F.S.

    For higher ranges, the model FN3148 can measurement loads from 10 N to 2 kN [2 to 400 lbf] with mechanical stops.

  6. Double Range Load Cell

    Double Range Load Cell

    The FN7110 features high accuracy measurement channels in two ranges in the same load cell. 

    The standard ratio between the ranges is 1 to 10, and standard load range combinations go from 0-10 and 0-100 N through 0-1000 and 0-10,000 N. The FN7110's percentage accuracy is the same over each range in the load cell. In practice one maintains accuracy of 0.1% over the high force range even in the first 10% of the range.

    During measurement, once the lower range sensing element reaches its designed full scale limit, mechanical stops protect it against overloads, in tension and compression, up to 12 times the full scale limit of the higher range sensing element (which is equivalent to 12 times the full scale limit of the lower range). For high-level output, a model with an integrated amplifier is available.

    The rugged FN3050 load cell is highly suited for process industry and test bench applications. Dimensions are identical in standard ranges from 0-100 N to 0-20000 N so during testing the sensor can be interchanged for another of a different range without mechanical modifications.     The FN3042 is highly suited for use in test benches and fatigue tests. Due to the mechanical design, the FN3042 is especially durable. 

    Dedicated to fatigue test benches, FN3042 is able to undergo more than 10 million cycles of full scale with very little change in zero offset stability.

    The sensor housing can be supplied fully stainless steel with high IP protection level for fatigue test benches or regulation in high temperature or corrosive fluids environments.
