A range of rotary position sensors utilising several different technologies including Conductive Plastic tracks, differential transformer and magnetic field direction.     The PGL 60 rotary potentiometer is an extremely robust hollow shaft sensor with a variety of electrical angles available.  The hollow shaft is supported in long-life ball bearings. Options include track resitance and housing dimensions.  Applications include axle position monitoring in robotics, steering angle measurement and servo systems.

    The POL 230 rotary potentiometer with long life ball bearings giving high precision construction for high life applications, eg servosystems for linear motion actuators.  The conductive plastic tracks are designed for high cycle life and excellent linearity. The dual output option offers redundancy or reverse outputs.  Low starting and running torque are a feature.

    Robust Rotary Encoder

    The ED-21 Series magnetic encoder is designed to replace traditional mechanical potentiometers. This product is offered with a ball bearing supported shaft. Five standard output ranges are available: 0.5 - 4.5v, 0 - 5v, 0 - 12v, 4 - 20mA and 0 - 20mA. The magnetic technology used in the ED-21 offers advantages over conventional electomechanical potentiometers with sealed electronics, extended temperature ranges, and virtually unlimited life as there are no mechanical parts to wear out.

    Non-contact Rotary Transducer

    The RVIT-15-60 and RVIT-15-120I are DC operated non-contact rotary transducers. The RVIT proprietary design incorporates a set of printed circuit coils and a conductive spoiler to achieve superior performance and low cost. During operation, the conductive spoiler rotates with the transducer shaft, altering the magnetic field generated by the printed circuit coils.
