    The 82 series family is a 19mm small profile, media compatible, piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor packaged in a 316L stainless steel housing.     TE CONNECTIVITY has applied our decade of experience serving the automotive crash test industry to design the ultimate crash test seat belt restraint sensor.

    The EL20-S458 provides a super low-mass titanium structure to minimize F=MA errors during the crash event. All exterior surfaces are smoothed to prevent snagging on dummy or air bag materials; smoothed exterior profiles protect your expensive crash test dummy from damage while eliminating drag and frictional error.

    The user-replaceable cable ensures that even if your cabling is damaged, replacement cables can be rapidly wired and your test facility remains in full operation at all times.

    Based on a Wheatstone bridge equipment, the EL20-S458 is also available with internal linearization up to ±0.5%FS (option B) and high level of 0.5-4.5V output (option D).

    High Accuracy Miniature Pressure Transducer

    The EB100 pressure transducer is the smallest design proposed by TE CONNECTIVITY from the UltraStable™ line. It sets a new price / performance standard for demanding commercial and heavy industrial applications where high accuracy, small size and low weight are desirable. This series is suitable for measurement of liquid or gas pressure, including difficult media such as contaminated water, steam, and mildly corrosive fluids.

    The EB100 uses TE’s UltraStable™ technology that provides stability over a wide temperature range and performance previously available only in much higher priced sensors. The UltraStable™ technology employs a silicon-based strain gage, isolated from the media by an oil-filled capsule and a stainless steel diaphragm. The high stability offers excellent repeatability and minimal hysteresis.

    Multiaxial Load Cell

    The multiaxial FN7325 measures force from 0-5 kN to 0-250 kN along three axes as well as the corresponding torque from 0-200 Nm to 0-7000 Nm. The FN7325 is simple to use and install and in many diverse applications circumvents the necessity of employing multiple single-axes units. 

    The FN7325 is a multiaxial sensors based on strain gages technology assembled in Wheatstone full bridges. Each sensor is able to measure up to 6 channels Fx, Fy, Fz, Mx, My & Mz which can be selected by customer, as example FN7325-M6-ZLM corresponds to a 3 channels (Fz, Mx & My) with a M6 sensor design.

    Multiple designs and options can be adapted to this sensor such as integrated amplifier (A1 or A2) or separated connectors or cable outputs. Its interfaces can also be modified to fit customer’s specifications.

    Capsule flush mount

    The 85 Flush Mount is a small profile, media compatible, piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor packaged in a 316L stainless steel housing. The 85 Flush Mount is designed for o-ring mounting where the diaphragm must not be shrouded by weld ring or fitting.  The sensing package utilizes silicon oil to transfer pressure from the 316L stainless steel diaphragm to the sensing element. A ceramic substrate is attached to the package that contains laser-trimmed resistors for temperature compensation and offset correction. An additional laser trimmed resistor is included which can be used to adjust an external differential amplifier and provide span interchangeability to within ±1%.

    Pedal Load Cell

    The FN2114 load cell has been developed for pedal load testing. Its size allows the sensor to be easily installed on the pedals of any vehicle or a fatigue/endurance test bench.

    Since the forces to be investigated on the brake, clutch or accelerometer pedals are different, and vary from a small car to a heavy goods vehicle, TE CONNECTIVITY offers different measurement ranges as standard.

    With an internal mechanical decoupling system, accuracy is 1% F.S., regardless of the point of force application. Integrated amplifier for high level output is optionally available for all ranges.

    The AccuStar® IP-66 is a 4 to 20mA loop powered clinometer specifically designed for industrial and outdoor applications. Rated to IP-66, the rugged die-cast, powder coated aluminum housing provides protection in the most hostile environments. 

    The heart of the system is our patented, capacitance-based tilt sensor with no moving parts.  When rotated about its sensitive axis, this unique sensor provides an exceedingly linear variation in capacitance, which is then electronically converted into 4 to 20mA and VDC analog outputs proportional to the angular position.

    The FN2570 load cell has been developed for pedal force testing. It attaches easily on all types of pedals and test rigs for endurance and fatigue tests, especially where size is an important factor. 

    The force is measured with high precision independent of the point of application of force. A strain relief spring strengthens the cable output.

    The XPM5 is a miniature 5mm threaded transducer designed to measure static and dynamic pressure under a wide variety of conditions, including hostile environments. The product is flush mounted and constructed in Titanium for ultimate protection against corrosive media and designed for long term survivability. Frequency response is 20 to 160 kHz depending on the pressure range selected which are available from 0-10 (0-150 psi) to 0-350 (0-5000 psi) in either gauge, sealed gauge or absolute and standard output is 100mV full scale or amplified. The product benefits from having long term stability, so no zero shift and very low torque shift when fitting. Several options are available including cable or integral connector options, compensated temperature ranges, ingress protection to IP67. Applications can range from aerospace, test benches, explosive testing, brake pressure, research, laboratory. A true alternative to other product suppliers such as Kulite or GE sensing.     Miniature Load Cell

    Available in a range of measurements and a variety of mounting threads, the XFU400 is easily installed. Its miniature size facilitates testing where space is at a premium.

    The sensing element is fitted with a fully temperature compensated Wheatstone bridge equipped with high stability micro-machined silicon strain gages.

    The XFU400 is used in applications that require a spherical plain rod-end bearing and has the capacity of accepting a full scale range of up to 5 kN [1 klbf].

    Model 4201 Accelerometer

    The Model 4201 single axis accelerometer is designed with performance and reliability in mind. The rugged, gas damped accelerometer is ideally tailored for motorsport applications and road vehicle testing. The model 4201 features an 8-pole low-pass filter to ensure no high frequency engine noise will leak into the passband. A heavy-duty shielded cable and an EMI/RFI module protects the accelerometer from the harsh operating environment. Available in ranges from ±6g to ±50g, the model 4201 will provide reliable measurements from -40°C to +125°C.

    The US300 Series incorporates stainless steel isolation, and provides a wide choice of standard pressure ranges and electrical outputs in a very compact package. This product uses MEAS’ UltraStable™ technology that provides stability over a wide temperature range, performance previously available only in much higher priced sensors. The modular design is adaptable to a wide variety of pressure ports and electrical connectors. Standard outputs include 0 to 100mV, 0.5 to 4.5V ratiometric, 1 to 5V regulated and 4 to 20mA current loop. Suitable for medium to high volume OEM requirements for test benches, compressed gasses, HVAC controls, refrigeration, water pressure monitoring.     Differential Pressure Transducer

    The D5100 family has many different pressure range, output and process connection options. This is a uni-directional diffential pressure sensor with differential pressure ranges starting from 0-70 mbar (0-1 psi) and upwards. There are many choices of output including 4-20mA, ratiometric, mV and amplified voltage. The sensor has built in surge protection and reverse polarity protection. Suitable for both OEM and end user requirements. Applications include filter blockage protection, process control, industrial applications, tank level measurements. If you have an extreme application with very high common mode pressures (very high pressure on one side) we recommend P2100 series.
