    The 34200B triaxial analog accelerometers are capable of accurately measuring ±10 g, ±15 g, ±20 g, ±25 g, ±30 g, ±35 g, ±40 g, ±50 g, or ±70 g accelerations on three mutually orthogonal axes. 

    A tough, compact housing holds potted electronics and the small size and built-in power regulation allow the 34200B to fit where other accelerometers can’t. Choose the bandwidth and range options best suited for your application.

    The voltage output is directly proportional to the acceleration along the axis. Each DC-coupled output is fully scaled, referenced, and temperature compensated. Users are supplied with a calibration certificate listing sensitivity and offset for each sensor.

    Tested over the -40ºC to +85ºC temperature range, the accelerometers have a nominal full scale output swing of ±2 Volts.

    The Measurement Specialties 34208A accelerometer has each mutually orthogonal axis precisely aligned within 0.75 degree of the theoretical ideal. This provides the accuracy required by most measurement applications without any compensation. Critical applications requiring higher accuracy can use the alignment data provided on the calibration certificate to compensate for any small residual error.

    Choose the bandwidth and range options best suited for your application to measure up to ±250 g or ±500 g accelerations on each of three axes.

    Model XL403D

    The XL403D is the first accelerometer to support SCPI-like commands, return data in engineering units, and work with an ASCII terminal emulator. It also performs basic functions such as evaluating minimum, maximum, magnitude, peak-to-peak, and tilt. The output is configurable by the customer - choose number of axes, units returned, bandwidth, sample rates, function specifics, and analysis results.

    The sensor also contains a temperature sensor, microcontroller, and analog outputs in a small, easy-to-install package. The microcontroller takes 10-bit samples and performs temperature compensation and additional functions as programmed for output via the RS-485 interface.
